Sixteen Years

Maleficent leans back on her throne and threads her fingers together. She thinks back to sixteen years of searching for a troublesome little Princess.

 

She thinks of one perfect moment, as the last hints of sunlight drops below the horizon as one dainty hand reaches out and touches the spindle. Then Stephan's daughter laid down at her feet.

 

“There are worse things a person could have than an obsession.” Maleficent said with a evil smile on her face.
